a songwriter and recording artist  - with the heart of a seeker and the spirit of a wanderer.  the search for place and purpose, whether spiritual or geographical, gets  woven into the journey.
a tension exists between the need to explore and discover and the need to be still.  definitely fortunate when The Muse visits - dropping in and stirring  things up.  leaves behind fragments of lyrics and melodies, rhythms and riffs.  most often - without a grand entrance.   so I carry around these fragments as they accumulate a creative energy of expression needing to be exhaled and demanding to be shaped into a song.  It can get very messy.  what we end up with is something akin to Third Coast Folk Rock meets West Coast California Country.

in the end, the best I can hope for is that you might make the time to listen to the song.  maybe even allow it to seep in, inspire, and comfort you along your journey.
